Rashea A. Newbold is an Associate in the Firm’s Litigation and Property Practice Group. Her practice focuses on Civil Litigation, with particular emphasis on land disputes and trust law. She also has experience in Debt Recovery and Real Estate matters. Rashea regularly appears as junior counsel in matters before the Supreme Court of The Bahamas.
Her recent experience includes appearing as Lead Counsel on a trust application and in a probate matter, assisting senior attorneys in ongoing quieting proceedings and trust maters, and appearing as junior counsel on behalf of liquidators.
Rashea obtained her Bachelor of Laws from the University of The Bahamas in 2022 and subsequently completed her Bar training at the Eugene Dupuch Law School in 2024. During her studies, she received several academic distinctions, including Best Performing Year I Student in Law of Evidence and Best Performing Student in the Legal Aid Clinic.
She was called to the Bar of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas in October 2024.
