E. TERRY NORTH | Partner

Terry North is the managing partner of the firm. He joined the firm as an associate in 1979 and was confirmed as Partner in 1981.

Mr. North has a broad general practice with experience in all areas of law. His practice consisted primarily of conveyancing and corporate matters for the earlier part of his career but in latter years his focus has shifted to litigation. His primary practice now is civil litigation along with his continued transactional work for long standing clients.

Mr. North obtained his LLB in 1976 from the University of the West Indies, Barbados Campus. He subsequently articled in the law firm of Isaacs Johnson & Co. and was called to the Bar of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas in October, 1978.

He is a member of the Society of Trust Estate Practitioners and has lectured in Business and Hotel Catering Law at the University of the West Indies, Nassau Campus.
